Padova Breast Meeting: self-perception and psychophysical well-being
The latest innovations in breast reconstructive plastic surgery, with a focus on how these technologies can positively impact patients’ lives.
The third edition of the Padova Breast Meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Villa Contarini in Piazzola Sul Brenta (PD), starting at 9:00 AM.
This year’s theme is twofold: on one hand, achieving excellent results in breast reconstruction, and on the other, improving the quality of life and the perception women undergoing this journey have of themselves. Through an integrated approach considering reconstructive, rehabilitative, psychological, and nutritional aspects, speakers will discuss how a holistic vision can lead to more positive and fulfilling recovery outcomes.
A particularly noteworthy part of the day will be dedicated to Wellness Medicine, focusing on “patient perception” and “patient education.” In a time where Regenerative and Aesthetic Reconstructive Plastic Surgery is rapidly evolving, it is essential that patients are well-informed and involved in their care. Patient associations will play a key role in this discussion, bringing their firsthand experiences and needs to the table.
